JAMB commences admission for Unilorin applicants - Admission status checking guide

The admission of the University of Ilorin for the 2017/2018 academic session commenced yesterday with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)  awarding admissions to applicants on merit.
However, in compliance with the usual tradition of JAMB, not everyone would be given admission via that medium ( i.e through JAMB's recommendation on JAMB's website ). Therefore there shouldn't be cause for alarm if your name isn't among the selected few as the University will release the largest percentage of the admission. Just be fervent in prayer and optimism in addition to your considerable qualification. We shall bring the news to  our readers hearing as soon as the University releases admission list too(If the University releases admission as we're not definite this is not the way all the admissions will be awarded but we can almost guarantee the school management will release theirs too judging from past experience )

To check your admission status on JAMB website, follow the steps below:

1. Visit JAMB website preferably using a PC or chrome browser on mobile.
Click here to visit JAMB website
2. Login with the credentials( email and password) you created your jamb account with.
3. After successfully logging in, click on the options button ( the button with 3 dashes) at the top of the page.
4. You'll see CAPS under the tag 'Admissions'. Click on it and you'll be taken to the CAPS page.
5. If the page only shows 'welcome', do not be discouraged, Click here

We wish every applicant best of luck
